ACTIS Computer extends its range of PMC mezzanine modules by offering additional serial communication controllers for industrial applications.

The PSCC-1008E module offers an opto-galvanic isolation for host system protection against worst operational conditions.

The PSCC-1028 is an universal octal UART solution with RS-232 and RS-485 line interfaces. This module is compatible with conduction cooling environment and support industrial temperature -40/+85°C range.

PMC Octal UART with opto-isolation

ACTIS Computer introduces an octal UART dedicated for industrial environment.

This PMC Module supports a 2500 V opto-isolation between the system host and the external signals. The line interface is based on RS-485, and both point-to-point and multi-drop bus configurations are supported.

The external I/Os are available on a SCSI-3 front connector or on the rear P4 PMC connector.

This module supports the industrial temperature range -40/+85°C.

The line interface selection mode is done by software offering a flexible hardware configuration.

This module will be also available in industrial temperature range -40/+85°C.
